The iconic car brand, renowned for its extraordinary and high-performance vehicles, lacked a brand platform that aligned with the quality and uniqueness of their cars. We were asked to assist Koenigsegg in positioning itself not only as automotive artisans but also as technical innovators capable of groundbreaking engineering. With potential consumers, fans, and the media as the target audience, we needed to craft an experience that could provide information swiftly while also keeping those who wish to explore the finer intricacies engaged.

Technological solutions

With each new model, Koenigsegg engineers groundbreaking new technology. Solutions that can also benefit other manufacturers. Making this product offering a prominent element would bring new business opportunities and position Koenigsegg as the pinnacle of automotive tech and innovation. The site’s navigation was kept minimal, with only placing an item for their technology next to the models link, giving it the same weight. Both items would instantly open a menu-like overview page to help steer visitors in either direction.

First things first

Each new model is designed with a purpose, and bringing it to life often requires inventing new technology and incorporating elements new to a Koenigsegg model or even to the world in general. This is where things become interesting for potential consumers and fans. Hence, every model page starts with ‘the why’: Why is this new model being built? How many will be built? And most importantly, what is new?
